During your travels, you may come across the book “Deathbrand”. After reading it, a marker “Haknir's Shoal” appears on the map. However, you don’t have to go to the libraries, you can just go there yourself (see locations). After completing the quest and finding hidden treasures, you will receive a set of armor, specially designed for those who like to hold a weapon in both hands, and a couple of swords.

First chest

On the shallows you will see a camp of robbers, who, of course, will not be happy with your visit. Take the Deathbrand Treasure Map from the leader's body, read the book if you haven't already, and examine the chest dug up by the bandits. It contains a helmet with properties: water breathing. +100 armor when wearing a full set of Death's Mark armor. Look at the map and go along the route convenient for you to get the rest of the armor.

Before you leave there, grab the Eastern Imperial Company pendant lying in one of the tents.


Second chest

Go north from the Earth Stone, on the outskirts of Raven Rock, along the coast. (see map). Soon a couple of robbers will come across, and not far from their camp there is a chest dug out of the ground, which contains Haknir's armor, which increases the strength reserve by 15 units for each equipped item from the Death Brand set.


Third chest

Even further north, a little further from the waterfall, you will find the third chest (see map). It contains Haknir's gloves. If you equip them and dual-wield your weapon, your hits will deal 10% more damage per Deathmark set item equipped.


Fourth chest

Now it's time to visit Tel Mithryn, go straight to where the river flows into the sea. Next to the bodies of the unlucky treasure hunters is the fourth chest (see map). It contains Haknir's Boots, which increase your carry weight by 10 pounds per Deathmark item equipped, and the Gyldenhul Barrow Key. Obviously, it was not placed in vain, go to the mound and do not forget to take with you the ancient Nord pickaxe. Let us remind you that it can be obtained during the quest An Ax to Find or purchased from Baldor after completing the quest.


Gyldenhull Mound

Open the door with the key. The first - and seemingly only - room contains only a pair of sarcophagi filled with stalhrim. Take the time to get the “enchanted ice” and a passage will open on the left.


Behind the next door awaits a treasury full of coins, but as soon as you take Haknir's cursed gold (or any other thing), a grate blocks the way back.


You have reached the resting place of Haknir himself. Take the sword called “Bloodscythe” lying near the skeleton, and the spirit of the legendary pirate will appear, naturally hostile. First, he will send the ghosts of his team to you, then a couple of assistants mentioned in the book, a team again, and only then he will appear himself to calm down forever. Take another sword, "Strangler" (Soulrender), from the captain's body. If these two swords are used in pairs, then when struck, the Strangler absorbs 15 points of magic and has a chance to dispel magic defense, and the Bloody Scythe absorbs 15 points of health and has a chance to weaken the enemy's armor.

All items that belonged to Haknir can be improved at the forge.

During your travels through Tamriel, you will repeatedly come across treasure maps. This is not a simple thing, and you can consider yourself truly lucky if it is in your inventory. But what to do with it next?

After using the map, a drawing will appear on it, following which you will have to find the hidden place.

Not very informative, right? But don't rush to get upset. We look carefully at the name of the map and understand in which location we should search. Agree, this is no longer small. Each map depicts a characteristic feature unique to this place. In the example above there is a lava lake, a lone tree and a double peak.

After persistent searching, you will find the treasured place.

As you can see, there are definitely similarities. We look at the map again and hurry to the place marked with a cross. Of course, you won’t find the chest there; who will store it in the open air? If you look closely, you will find an earthen mound, and this is where our treasure is buried.

As with collecting resources, you do not need to have any special tool with you. Approaching the embankment, press the interactive key “ E“, and here it is, our chest! All of them will be unlocked, don’t worry, you won’t need a master key. The contents of chests are generated randomly.

After this, the card will disappear from your inventory. The number of places in which treasures are hidden is strictly fixed. If you get the same card again, you will already know where to run for the treasure.

The entire map in The Elder Scrolls Online is divided into locations, between which you can travel either on foot or using wayshrines. Unlike other MMOs in TESO, locations are not divided into levels. This means that you are free to go anywhere and play in the location you want. You can also take friends with you or join groups regardless of your level, because the strength of the monsters and the complexity of the location, as well as the reward, will be adjusted to the level of your character. Forget about situations in which you have “outgrown” the level of a location, and the quests are still in full swing. Also, if you play with a friend, you no longer have to match each other's levels to be able to play together. The Elder Scrolls Online offers true freedom of movement. As in the single-player parts of the series, in TESO you can see many objects on the map.

Skyshards

Skyshards, or Skyshards, are among the most coveted objects for explorers in Tamriel. For every three skyshards you receive one skill point. Shards can be hidden in a wide variety of places. Cities

Unlike the single-player games in the series, to unlock many towns and villages (make the icon white) you will need to complete a quest chain associated with that location. Thus, to fully open the entire map, it is not enough to simply run near each marker.

Group Dungeons

Classic dungeons for groups of four. They have regular and veteran modes. In normal mode you can get blue items. Veteran mode presents more difficulty for unprepared players, but also a much more valuable reward in the form of purple items. Also, it is in veteran mode that you can get helmets from monster sets from the final bosses. It is in the veteran dungeons that the daily quests of the Undaunted are completed, allowing you to open chests with shoulders from monster sets. At the final boss, you can activate the hardmode scroll or fulfill special conditions and receive two keys instead of one as a reward for the day. Also, when you first visit a dungeon, you can complete a quest and receive a skill point as a reward.

Public Dungeons

They are public dungeons. This means that you can enter it at any time and go through it with other players. The number of players is unlimited. After killing the final boss for the first time, you will receive a skill point. Almost every location has one public dungeon.

Delves

Mini-dungeons that you can go through on your own or with a partner. Just like public dungeons, they have general access.

Trials

Particularly challenging dungeons designed for experienced and well-equipped players. Most of the trials are designed for 12 players, but there are also trials for 4 players (dragonstar rental) and for solo play (maelstorm arena). It is in trials that you can get the best things in the game.

Group Bosses

Group bosses are elite monsters that are extremely difficult to defeat alone. To resist group bosses, it is better to unite in groups. But even as a group, defeating them will not be easy, because each of them has their own unique tactics. Group bosses often drop rare, high-quality items. You don't have to be grouped with other players to get the loot. If you see that someone is already fighting the boss, you can safely attack, each participant in the battle will receive a reward when killing the boss. As a rule, there are several group bosses in each location.

Dark Anchors

Dark Anchors or Dolmens are holes in space through which the merger of Nirn and Coldharber took place. Dark Anchors open after the Worm cultists perform their ritual. To close the Anchor you need to destroy all Daedra. For this you will receive experience and a reward chest.

Lorebooks

The Books of Knowledge contain fascinating stories and interesting details of the history of the world around us. After reading a book, it is added to your library and you can always read it again. But most importantly, collecting books is the only way to level up the Mages Guild branch, which gives you access to powerful spells. Just like the Sky Shards, the Books of Knowledge are scattered all over the world, and you never know which dungeon or tavern contains the next book, unless, of course, you use our map.

Mundus Stone

With the help of Mundus Stones you can choose your character's zodiac sign. Being under a certain zodiac sign gives you certain bonuses. Stones are also scattered throughout the world. You can see the location of all the Mundus Stones here.

Stations (Crafting Site)

While in large cities, you can create any regular armor for yourself. But if you want to have a set of items with a certain bonus, you will have to go on a trip. Set crafting stations will allow you to create a set of armor with powerful boosts from using the sets. But remember that the most powerful sets can only be created by the most gifted of master craftsmen.

Player House

Houses for players to purchase. You can enter any house or teleport through the Crown Store and look around. As a rule, each location has one or two houses. You can find out more about the houses here.

Sequence of completing the quest

When your character reaches level 36, the book “The Seal of Death” will give you a special task. When you read the book, a new sign for Haknir Shoal will appear on your map. Here on the shelf you will meet pirates. Your task is to stay alive and put them down. Ready? Having found the killed captain, we take the Seal of Death treasure map.

Now we go to the locations where the treasures are hidden:
