World Clock is a time machine for iPhone. Application of the day

10.08.2023 Programs

A small guide to the best and most useful Apple Watch apps in 2018 that will bring life to new amenities, will be able to motivate or simply lift your spirits.

Some of the applications can be downloaded for free. Let's go!

1. Streaks

Download on iTunes: 379 rub.
What's the trick: An effective motivating application with a dose of gamification for the formation of healthy habits.

With the help of fine, convenient settings in the program, you can select a visual representation, select days of the week, exact time, frequency, and even the sound of reminders. In addition, integration with Apple Health allows you to add task-habits for physical activity, the data will be calculated automatically.

In total, you can add 6 basic habits. The restriction was made by the developers specifically so that attention would be focused on completing just a few goals, and the user’s passion would not fade away quickly.

The Apple Watch screen displays reminders to close a task, what effect it will have, and a full list of selected habits.

It is curious that if the task is constantly successfully completed, the program will offer to increase the load. For example, after I walked more than 5 thousand steps daily for a week (one of the selected habits), Streaks suggested increasing the load to 6 thousand.

Pros: convenient, customizable interface and progress statistics with an indicative percentage of completion of each habit (in iPhone). Motivates you to be better!

Minuses: The application can be intimidating due to its price; in the App Store you can find free analogues, which, unfortunately, are not as colorful and convenient.

2. Bring! Shopping List

Download on iTunes: for free
What's the trick: An excellent free analogue of the famous application for making a shopping list “Buy a loaf”.

Bring! Shopping List has a minimalistic interface and allows you to create visual shopping lists, as well as synchronize lists with other users.

All products are divided into categories and visually presented in the form of cards, a long press on which allows you to add a description, as well as mark the number of required products. It is possible to make additional cards outside the presented list.

You can create and share shopping lists with family, colleagues or friends.

On the Apple Watch screen, the list is displayed in the form of icons with descriptions. Clicking on each item “closes” the purchase. Managing such a list from a watch is easier and more convenient than holding a smartphone in your hands while shopping.

Pros: Convenience and ease of use make grocery shopping as efficient as possible. No more endless “text messages” from your spouse. Unlike “Buy a loaf!” the Swiss analogue can be used absolutely free.

Minuses: lack of Russian language, despite many requests in the App Store.

3. CARROT Weather

Download on iTunes: 379 rub.
What's the trick: A wonderful analogue of Gismeteo for those who are tired of the same boring weather forecasts.

Carrot Weather shows detailed weather information, sunrise/sunset times, visibility, humidity and pressure. But the main feature of the application is the sarcastic humor of the built-in robot and the flexible configuration of information on the watch.

Unlike the built-in weather application, Carrot Weather allows you to choose the type of data that is displayed on the watch screen (temperature, humidity, temperature “feels like”, cloudiness, chance of precipitation).

After a new update that arrived this week, Carrot Weather allows you to change the application icon (on iPhone) and fine-tune the information slots in AW.

Pros: nice, visual, customizable interface, many different options, excellent humor, the severity of which can be adjusted (not everyone will be happy when the program starts contacting the user “meatbag”).

Minuses: lack of Russian language. “Eating” the watch battery, AW series 3 with Carrot Weather installed work instead of 3 days, only 2 days. High cost + paid subscription(!).

4. Yandex.Translator

Download on iTunes: for free
What's the trick: convenient free translator from the famous Russian search engine.

You can dictate text directly from your watch and get its instant translation.

The iPhone application allows you to download the necessary offline language package, thanks to which translation can be carried out without connecting to the network. Packet size is 20-80 MB.

Pros: simple, convenient, free. Saving traffic abroad is always nice!

Minuses: are missing.

5. Just Press Record

Download on iTunes: 379 rub.
What's the trick: The perfect solution for recording voice notes on the go.

Surprisingly, Siri on the Apple Watch does not allow you to take voice notes, suggesting you open the corresponding program on the iPhone (game!). Therefore, an absolutely logical step is to install a convenient, simple Just Press Record voice recorder, with which you can save important data (ideas, important thoughts) on the fly.

You can turn on the voice recorder on Apple Watch with just one touch, and you can record in the background. In this case, the data is automatically transferred to the iPhone.

Pros: simple and convenient. Entries in iCloud are automatically synchronized with all devices in your account.

Minuses: price. There is no way to change the name of entries using Apple Watch.

6. Streaks Workout

Download on iTunes: 299 rub.
What's the trick: Convenient home personal “trainer” for sports

In Streaks Workout you can find everything you need for daily sports: sets of exercises with algorithms, recommendations, statistics. Moreover, it is not necessary to go to the gym for this; almost all assigned tasks can be completed at home.

When first launched, the user is asked to select up to six different types of exercises (push-ups, planks, squats, etc.). After that, it will be enough to indicate the duration of the classes (from 6 to 30 minutes) and the program will independently create the entire training program depending on the chosen preferences. There is also the option to create a custom workout.

Until recently, smartwatches running Google's operating system were only compatible with Android devices. However, now everything has changed, and wearable gadgets based on the iPhone have received official support. Since August 31, 2015, an application from Google has been available in the App Store, allowing you to connect smart watches to Android Wear to a mobile device from Apple.

Where can I download the app and what devices are supported?

Currently, the LG Watch Urbane gadget has received iOS support, but it will soon be joined by products from Huawei, Asus, Motorola, etc. In order to connect a smart watch to an iPhone, you just need to install the program; there is no need to download any additional updates required.

You can download the Android Wear app from the App Store for free. To do this, you must have an iPhone 5, 5c, 5s, 6 or 6 Plus running iOS 8.2 or higher.

How to connect a smart watch to an iOS device?

After downloading and installing the application on your iPhone, you need to open it and activate Bluetooth. When the program detects a compatible gadget, you need to select the name that is displayed on the watch display and enter the code on the smartphone screen, which will also appear on the watch face.

In case the iPhone or wearable device cannot detect each other, you need to reset the latter to factory settings and try again. Once connected, the app will require you to sign in to your Gmail account.

How does the messaging feature work?

Using a device-based app Android Wear will be able to display both receipt notifications and the text messages and media content themselves in iMessage. However, in order to answer them, the user will still have to take out the iPhone. Messages received through messages will be displayed directly on the gadget's display, but you can only reply to them using a mobile device.

What about phone calls?

As with messages, smartwatches will notify their owners when someone is calling. Using the gadget, you can reject or accept a call, but in order to talk, you need to use a mobile device.

How does email work?

The smartwatch allows you to receive and view emails in Gmail. In the iPhone application, you need to go to “Settings”, click on Email and select Rich Gmail. This will allow you to archive, delete or reply to emails directly from the smartwatch screen. You can also dictate a response to a message, but the device will send it to the recipient without asking for confirmation that the transcription is correct.

How does using Android Wear gadgets with an iPhone differ from using them with Android devices?

First of all, for smart watches based on Android Wear connected to an iPhone, there are currently no third-party apps. The OK Google function only allows you to search the Internet, as well as set reminders, calendar and alarm. It is not possible to communicate in Hangouts or send SMS using it.

When you search the Internet using OK Google, the results are shown on the watch display, but more detailed information is revealed in the application itself Android Wear on a mobile device, not in Safari or Chrome browsers. Unlike when paired with Android smartphones, when connected to an iPhone, the smartwatch does not support Wi-Fi.

Is it possible to manage audio files on an iOS device using an Android Wear gadget?

Yes, you can. After turning on music on the iPhone (in services, or), you should swipe your finger to the left on the smart watch screen, after which a control panel will appear for rewinding tracks and adjusting the volume.

What should I do if my wearable device fails to connect to my iPhone?

If the connection is lost, an image of lightning piercing the cloud will appear at the top of the screen. If there is no connection, the user will still be able to receive information about the number of steps taken, weather forecast and time.

Is the Android Wear app available for iPad?

No. The app is currently only available for iPhone.

One of the most impressive advantages of the Apple Watch is the huge selection of quality apps compared to competing platforms. With more than 10,000 programs available for download, the App Store has the potential to be number one in the business. With the latest watchOS 2 update, many Apple Watch applications have learned to work directly on the watch.

However, not all of these 10,000+ apps are worth your time. Therefore, we recommend this article as a good starting point for finding the most worthwhile and useful Apple Watch apps...

Applications for every day

Vine

Not being able to watch full-length movies or TV shows with your hand up to your face isn't too much of a disappointment anymore. But small videos of a few seconds are perhaps best suited for viewing on a smart watch. The Vine app will allow you to view these short videos, suggesting the most popular ones and allowing you to save your favorite ones to your favorites. So you can watch your favorite cats doing all sorts of funny things while standing in line at the supermarket, and the sound from the Apple Watch will not irritate those around you at all.

Fantastical 2

Apple's standard Calendar app is great for running through a list of your upcoming appointments, but Fantastical 2 will save you the time you spend pulling your smartphone out of your pocket to add a new event to your calendar. Press firmly to select the desired command and begin dictating. The natural language input that the app supports means it's usually good at recognizing things like "lunch on Friday at 2pm," making you feel like you're living in the future. A little. One problem is that Russian is not supported yet, but if you speak English, Spanish, Italian, German, French or Japanese, then you will have additional practice;)

CARROT Weather

On iPhone, CARROT Weather is a sophisticated monster with artificial intelligence Dark Sky that is about to take over the whole world. On the Apple Watch, there's much less room for bells and whistles, although some things are still delivered with aplomb. Fortunately, along with this you also get valuable forecasts, including precipitation, all in the form of reports that fit on the screen of your watch.

219R + 119R annual subscription, iTunes

Streaks

This simple and straightforward habit creation app has drawn some criticism from us due to its limitations: you can only create 6 habits and must set them for specific days of the week. However, it turned out that this is much more effective - when you focus on only a small number of tasks, and thanks to the fact that this is a smartwatch, and not a smartphone, it becomes much faster and more convenient to mark these tasks as completed, and also track at a glance - what else left for today.

BBC News

There are already quite a few news apps for the Apple Watch, but BBC News is our favorite. You get notifications and can read headlines grouped into Top Stories, My News (which are created based on your favorite news categories in the iPhone app), and Most Read. For each article, you will see a short description and a picture, and if you wish, you can download the full version to your iPhone.

ProCamera

If you're already a ProCamera user, then its smartwatch app will give you a little more control over your Apple camera remotely. Including remote shutter control, external viewfinder preview, photo preview, and a timer where you can adjust the amount of delay and the number of photos to be taken at once.

Deliveries

The Deliveries program is good on any platform, because it tracks all your packages that are flying to you through the forests, across the seas directly from the online store, and allows you to not suddenly find yourself outside the house at the moment of completion of delivery, when the courier after a long time waiting, decides to throw a brand new laptop into your yard - over the fence. Your smart Apple Watch will have the same list of packages and a map of locations that will display where your precious cargo is currently located, as well as notifications about the immediate completion of delivery.

Slack

Slack's popularity as a team collaboration tool is undeniable, but you wouldn't want to be constantly scrolling through your to-do list on the small screen of your smartwatch. So the Apple Watch version of the app has wisely limited its functionality to only messages and reminders that you can respond to with short, canned responses, emoji, or voice input using Siri.

Find Near Me

This application is great for quickly searching nearby places by category: payment terminal, bank, bar, hairdresser, zoo... as you can see, it is very useful, especially if you are in an unfamiliar city, but unfortunately it has not yet been translated into Russian. But it is very fast and even allows you to dictate search terms via Siri, which is currently a rarity in the Apple Watch.

The selected item typically expands when selected and displays more detailed information, such as addresses, maps, and reviews.

Journey

Citymapper

If you find yourself in one of the cities that this application supports (for example, Paris, New York or London), then it should be on your watch. It's geared towards public transport and gives precise, clear instructions to get you where you need to go. Citymapper will notify you when a bus, train or tram is about to arrive and provide you with a list of stops that are expected along your route. And thanks to the latest watchOS 2 update, the program will be able to display the expected time of arrival of transport and direction - directly on the screen of your smartwatch.

App in the Air

This “personal assistant for air travel” with a self-explanatory name does a lot of useful things. The app monitors your flight, gives tips on how to stretch a stiff neck, and shows the waiting time for boarding and security. Time Travel support, accordingly, gives you relevant and timely flight information right on the screen of your smartwatch, and allows you to virtually move through it in time using the Digital Crown.

Free+in-app purchases, iTunes

Google Maps

Google is taking its first tentative steps into the world of Apple Watch apps—they're not as broad or impressive as Citymapper's, but we'll still include them on our list because, well, it's Google Maps after all. There are buttons to quickly find your way home and to work, as well as links to your recent routes used in the iPhone app. The directions described in the text can be viewed in more detail (although there are no actual maps here yet), and using the Force Touch feature (pressing harder) you can call up buttons to switch the type of transport.

Currency

There are many apps for displaying currency rates on the Apple Watch, but we chose Currency because it is fast, responsive, and even elegant. On your iPhone, you specify a list of currencies for which you need to track information, and the order in which they should be shown. Changes appear almost instantly on your Apple Watch. Then you tap the desired currency and enter the amount you want to convert and the data is immediately updated. What speeds things up even further is that your main currency is shown to you first, as well as the next three in a given list.

TripAdvisor

Designed to tell you about places to "eat, play and stay" nearby, TripAdvisor is useful to have on your watch when you're out and about, especially in a place you're unfamiliar with. Pages with selected places, images, maps, addresses and reviews can be saved to any of your devices for later, more detailed viewing.

Health, fitness and sports

Runtastic

With watchOS 2, Runtastic can finally access your heart rate data and display all the details on your smartwatch screen. Of course, if you want GPS tracking, you'll still need to take your smartphone with you, but you'll come home with much more information than you would with any other Apple Watch fitness app.

7 Minute Workout "Seven"

We haven't been able to count how many apps have already been written for 7-minute workouts on the Apple Watch (more than 7), but this one, despite the awkward name, should definitely make it onto our list so that you can get the most out of watchOS 2. You will have all the usual chart graphs, but now you will also have data from the heart rate monitor added to them, and you will also have a new challenge in the form of the “7 Month Marathon” (i.e. you will have to maintain training throughout this time). And of course, your workouts will also feed into the activity rings on Apple Watch.

iTunes

Sleep++

This app takes advantage of the motion sensor capabilities in your Apple Watch, made available to developers with watchOS 2. The idea is that monitoring the duration and quality of your sleep can potentially help improve your sleep quality (or, say, clarify the situation - when you're on VKontakte until 2 nights, and then you are surprised that you are so tired the next day). There is an option for integration with HealthKit, and the developer thoughtfully provides tips on his blog, for example, how to charge your smartwatch if you plan to leave it on your wrist all night.

Hole19

As a complete solution for golfers, Hole19 provides you with hole routing, statistics and a simple interface to record your scores. As soon as you start a round on your iPhone, your Apple Watch starts working with the data you need at any given moment: key distances, recording scores, and tracking the ball in the hole.

CARROT Fit

The CARROT series brings a fresh twist to every category in which it appears. This app specifically focuses on the 7 minute workout. CARROT's evil trainer will take you through a high-paced workout with exercises like Celebrity Face Punches and Dragon Mating Dances. Start a workout and your Apple Watch will promptly tell you what exercise you need to do now, or allow you to press pause if you suddenly feel that your body is about to give up.

Slopes

Having detailed information about your speed, altitude, and distance traveled while skiing or snowboarding down a mountain is great, but an iPhone is not the most convenient device for such a situation. The Slopes app, accordingly, allows you to record data directly from your smartwatch, and displays all the necessary statistics on the Apple Watch screen, and also shows in Glances mode - how much time, for example, you spent having fun rushing downhill through the snow, compared to boring periods waiting on the lift bench.

Productivity

PCalc

Surprisingly, the Apple Watch lacks a regular calculator (maybe Tim Cook hates Casio?). However, do not despair, because PCalc is already rushing to our aid! It has a smart interface with operators and even has a tip calculator that will calculate their size at the press of one button (and this is better than doing similar features through Force Touch). On watchOS 2, everything is super responsive and you can easily adjust your tip size by simply twisting the Digital Crown.

Cruncher

We've added Cruncher to our list as an alternative calculator because it's good for those with sausage fingers or those who like to mash buttons on the run. It may not be a very elegant solution to go through sub-menus for numbers, but the buttons in Cruncher are much easier to press than in any other similar application. And in watchOS 2 now everything still flies without any delays.

1Password

The 1Password app gives you the ability to store passwords and all kinds of secret notes - right on your Apple Watch. It has large, easy-to-use buttons, and you can hide all your secrets behind one four-digit PIN code (paranoid people can also be advised to force close the application after use: hold the side button until the shutdown screen appears, then close 1Password with a long press). It's worth noting that 1Password is free to download, but you'll need to make an in-app purchase of Pro Features to enable Apple Watch support.

Just Press Record

On iPhone, the Just Press Record app is great for taking quick notes: press the record button, dictate something or record any other audio, stop recording, and your new audio file is saved and synced to the cloud. With the release of watchOS 2, this functionality also became available on your smartwatch. Moreover, being near the iPhone is not required for it to work. As soon as your smartwatch is near your smartphone again, the accumulated data will be transferred to it automatically. It is also possible to immediately access the application through the Watch feature, where one click is enough to start recording.

Drafts 4

On iPhone, the creators of Drafts position their app as the place where any text begins. Which is fair in principle, since it is a fast and reliable application with wide sharing capabilities. Now the text can start right in your smart watch, where you can dictate it via Siri. The recognized text is sent to a special inbox, where you can select elements and change their order, as well as archive and delete. Thanks to watchOS 2, everything now works even faster and more reliably, and the application, like the previous one, does not require a smartphone next to the smartwatch.

Instapaper

The original read-it-later service, Instapaper, may seem strange and unsuitable for the iPhone. But now, in addition to allowing you to manage your archive of articles, it also allows you to convert them to speech! The result looks funny - as if a robot is reading excerpts from the Internet for you, but this can be a very useful feature when you have free time to read a couple of articles, but there is no way to place a smartphone screen in front of your face.

Clicker

Ambition is a good thing, but sometimes you come across a completely simple application that is nevertheless very compelling in some way, and Clicker is definitely very simple. Once launched, you tap once to increase the number on the screen by one. A strong touch (Force Touch feature) - and you subtract one, and you can also reset the counter to zero. This is all. The settings allow you to place the number in the center or display it on the screen with a dial. You can also keep multiple counters, such as counting down the days until an event or counting the laps you run during a workout, at least until you reach the maximum supported number (2,147,483,647 - which is a lot of laps).

Entertainment

TuneIn Radio Pro

TuneIn Radio allows you to listen to more than 100,000 radio stations from all over the world. On your Apple Watch, you can change the station. which the iPhone is playing, see a list of recent and similar stations, and also have access to standard buttons: play/pause/skip. And if you don't like paying for apps, that's okay - the free version also supports Apple Watch.

Shazam

Shazam will make you feel like you've stepped into the future. Shake your smartphone back and forth while a melody you like is playing somewhere in the background, and the application will determine exactly what kind of composition it is. And now, thanks to smart watches, you don’t even have to take your smartphone out of your pocket - just wave your hand a little to find out the title, as well as the lyrics (if you suddenly decide to jump on the table and show your friends your vocal abilities).

Sky Guide

On iPhone, Sky Guide is the most beautiful and accurate guide to stars and constellations, so you'll get your money's worth. Its Apple Watch companion app will provide you with a calendar of upcoming events and notifications about interesting events happening in your geographic area. For example, you can find out when the International Space Station will pass in your part of the sky. After the release of watchOS 2, the application's performance improved and an update was released with support for Time Travel and very accurate moon phases.

Night Sky

In an attempt to fit the vastness of the skies onto the screen of your smartwatch, the Night Sky app may have even gone overboard. It takes a hundred years to render an image and is clumsy to operate, even if you just want to look up information about a celestial body. Although sometimes it can work much faster, showing us forecasts for the dark time of the day, and allows us to see, for example, how the cloud cover will change throughout the night. The developers generously provide us with support for smartwatches, both in the free version and (of course) in the paid version.

Games

Lifeline 2

The original Lifeline was one of those Apple products that we preferred to run on our wrist rather than our smartphone. In fact, it was an interactive book, the plot of which told the story of an astronaut stuck on an uninhabited planet. As the game progressed, it made me worry more than once. The sequel repeats the same trick, only now the story is about Arika, a woman who sets out to avenge her family and also save the lives of all humanity. The player will again find beautifully designed text, the volume of which has approximately doubled. Many decisions in Lifeline 2 affect the development of the plot, and some of them will change the entire ending. If the player fails, he will doom all humanity to death!

Rules!

This easy mind game is ideal for memory training. It contains many rules, based on which it is necessary to exclude pictures with drawn characters. For example, the game may ask you to remove cards that contain the color green. Or eliminate the cards in increasing order of the number of horns depicted on them. As you achieve certain successes, the complexity of the rules increases, and in addition to this, Rules! asks to return to the previously discussed rules, without recalling their essence. The first wrong action will lead to loss. With the release of WatchOS 2, play Rules! it became more pleasant, as haptic feedback appeared, and the controls became more responsive.

Brainess

Intellectual games are good for training the brain, but only if you play them regularly. And if such a toy is on your wrist, then you are unlikely to be too lazy to launch it, especially if it is well implemented. Brainess is a good example of this. This is a kind of set of micro-games that does not take much time. There are math problems, memory training, tasks for removing paired cards and much more. Great entertainment for five minutes, after which you will get tired of holding your hand up!

Trivia Crack

This toy is reminiscent of Trivial Pursuit - the famous quiz game, only you will have to compete with real people around the world. There are six randomly selected categories of questions. For correct answers, the player receives symbols in the form of small characters, which are the faces of the categories available here. The release of watchOS 2 added sounds to this game. Also, now you don’t need to run it on your iPhone; from now on you can start it right away on your smartwatch. Please note, this does not mean that you can use your smartphone to search the Internet for the correct answers! Although, in truth, no one will forbid you to do this, except your own conscience.

Free + in-app purchases, iTunes

Twisty Color

A simple game that only causes problems when you make a certain amount of progress. Color Twister first appeared on smartphone screens several years ago. On smartwatches, the number of colors and the size of the circle have been reduced, which is responsible for the decreased complexity. The digital wheel located at the end of the device is used as a control. This allows you not to block the display with your finger and react to the current situation in a timely manner. With the release of WatchOS 2, the game began to delight with tactile feedback that occurs in moments of victory or loss of life.

These “times” are very difficult to live with, let me tell you! When exactly will the next Apple presentation be “Moscow time”? When is it “convenient” to call friends or family who are now in America? What is the time difference between “your” city and the city in which you are thinking of vacationing? These and many other questions arise when it comes to time zones, of which, as we know, there are twenty-four (!) in the world. You can not get lost in time and learn something new about the world around you with the help of a special program. Let's get acquainted, "World Clock"!

World clock

Our “hero of the day” is a kind of encyclopedia of everything related to time. There is a time converter, clocks for the cities the user needs (+ viewing on the map), loading the exact time from the Internet, alarm clock functionality, “notification”, support for the Cyrillic alphabet and more.

"...At three o'clock in the morning!" (With)

The first section of the menu that you rush to immediately after downloading the application is “Converter”. This is exactly what a person who is “tied” to other time zones needs. Just enter a few parameters, and there you have it - a temporary “cheat sheet”! The program writes both the day of the week and the current time for each of the cities you need. So now you won’t “miss” with a letter/call/message. Is anything else needed?

Love for details

The developers answer this question positively and offer a whole range of “features”. Do you want to “visualize” the time of the cities you need on the map? Please! How about a day and night card? For God's sake! Perhaps you could use an alarm clock? He's here too! What kind of watch? There are 5 types of analog, 4 types of digital. Even the color shade of the dial is customizable (4 rules to choose from)!

Finally, you can view detailed information on any of the 197 thousand settlements - from the time difference to the next clock change. There is a Cyrillic alphabet here, which means that you can look for your “small homeland” with high chances of success.

We are close to solving the final technical issues to ensure the ability to use Android Wear smartwatches with Apple mobile devices. However, jailbroken iPhone owners can now take advantage of timekeepers powered by Google's software platform.

Smartwatches running Android Wear are available from companies such as LG, Samsung, Sony, Motorola and others. The most popular is the model with a round Moto 360 screen. The accessory has a stainless steel case in three colors. The second most popular model is the G Watch R from South Korean LG.

Connecting your Android Wear watch to your iPhone is easy. If your device is jailbroken, the procedure will take no more than 5 minutes.

How to set up a connection between your Android Wear watch and iPhone:

Step 1: Download the Androd_wear_for_ios app package from Google Play from this link. This is an APK file that you need to install on your smartwatch.

Step 2: On iPhone, open Cydia and install the free tweak “Android Wear Utility”. It is located in the BigBoss repository.

Step 3: Launch the application on your smartwatch after disconnecting the device from another smartphone. At the same time, open the Android Wear Utility app from the iPhone home screen.

Step 4: After a few seconds, the Android Wear gadget will detect the iPhone. Enter the code to set up the pair. Return to the smartwatch home screen.

Now you can control your music, view events and notifications from your iPhone on your watch screen.

Note that Google is developing an official application for iOS that will allow you to use smart watches with Android Wear together with an iPhone smartphone or iPad tablet. Currently, the application provides only basic functionality such as sending notifications, but when the final version is released, the capabilities will expand significantly.

Canalys estimates that approximately 4.6 million smartwatches and bracelets were sold worldwide last year. Of these, gadgets with Android Wear accounted for about 720,000 units, which corresponds to a share of 15.6%.
