During your travels, you may come across the book “Deathbrand”. After reading it, a marker “Haknir's Shoal” appears on the map. However, you don’t have to go to the libraries, you can just go there yourself (see locations). After completing the quest and finding hidden treasures, you will receive a set of armor, specially designed for those who like to hold a weapon in both hands, and a couple of swords.
First chest
On the shallows you will see a camp of robbers, who, of course, will not be happy with your visit. Take the Deathbrand Treasure Map from the leader's body, read the book if you haven't already, and examine the chest dug up by the bandits. It contains a helmet with properties: water breathing. +100 armor when wearing a full set of Death's Mark armor. Look at the map and go along the route convenient for you to get the rest of the armor.
Before you leave there, grab the Eastern Imperial Company pendant lying in one of the tents.
Second chest
Go north from the Earth Stone, on the outskirts of Raven Rock, along the coast. (see map). Soon a couple of robbers will come across, and not far from their camp there is a chest dug out of the ground, which contains Haknir's armor, which increases the strength reserve by 15 units for each equipped item from the Death Brand set.
Third chest
Even further north, a little further from the waterfall, you will find the third chest (see map). It contains Haknir's gloves. If you equip them and dual-wield your weapon, your hits will deal 10% more damage per Deathmark set item equipped.
Fourth chest
Now it's time to visit Tel Mithryn, go straight to where the river flows into the sea. Next to the bodies of the unlucky treasure hunters is the fourth chest (see map). It contains Haknir's Boots, which increase your carry weight by 10 pounds per Deathmark item equipped, and the Gyldenhul Barrow Key. Obviously, it was not placed in vain, go to the mound and do not forget to take with you the ancient Nord pickaxe. Let us remind you that it can be obtained during the quest An Ax to Find or purchased from Baldor after completing the quest.
Gyldenhull Mound
Open the door with the key. The first - and seemingly only - room contains only a pair of sarcophagi filled with stalhrim. Take the time to get the “enchanted ice” and a passage will open on the left.
Behind the next door awaits a treasury full of coins, but as soon as you take Haknir's cursed gold (or any other thing), a grate blocks the way back.
You have reached the resting place of Haknir himself. Take the sword called “Bloodscythe” lying near the skeleton, and the spirit of the legendary pirate will appear, naturally hostile. First, he will send the ghosts of his team to you, then a couple of assistants mentioned in the book, a team again, and only then he will appear himself to calm down forever. Take another sword, "Strangler" (Soulrender), from the captain's body. If these two swords are used in pairs, then when struck, the Strangler absorbs 15 points of magic and has a chance to dispel magic defense, and the Bloody Scythe absorbs 15 points of health and has a chance to weaken the enemy's armor.
All items that belonged to Haknir can be improved at the forge.
Stros M'Kai is a tutorial zone for Daggerfall Covenant players level 3-5. Although the island itself is very small you have a chance to acquire two Treasure Maps and additional Stros M'Kai CE Treasure Map which is available as pre-purchase bonus.
If you still don’t know how to acquire a map, take a look at our list below, but don’t forget that the drop probability is very low:
Each treasure map sketch will give you a hint where to look for a buried treasure, but it’s not easy to find this hidden place. The place where you should dig up the treasure chest is always covered with dirt mound, and it’s visible only to players with the corresponding map.
Old Khajiit sayings:
If you want a boring fight, fight honestly.
A busy cat forgets the taste of sugar.
A well-groomed claw never breaks.
A quiet blade is more useful than a ringing one.
Sword in one hand, laughter in the other.
Telkeli, Ayleid history specialist:
“That the ancient people destroyed much of the Ayleid heritage when they rebelled against their masters in their usual ignorant manner is certainly a great loss. There were only a few buildings left that survived the uprisings and were not destroyed or looted later. It is difficult to estimate all the damage caused by people to history and the magical sciences in an attempt to erase all traces of the existence of our brotherly people.
The Ayleids rejected the traditions of the Altmer, which was certainly foolhardy and ultimately hastened their downfall. Perhaps their attempts to instill Elven values in the people were a little crude and clumsy, but it is very sad that so little of the Ayleids remained and their advanced magical technology was lost."
Excerpt from "Leisure in the Sands":
You can get anything in the desert if you have money and know where to look. Travelers who want to thoroughly experience Khajiit culture will definitely enjoy the Grinning Moon Tavern. Be prepared to shell out a pretty penny, but know that you won't regret a single coin spent. Never in my travels have I reveled in such luxury, and no one can help you relax better than the Khajiit.
You will be treated like a king; From lush pillows and soft sheets to the finest dishes Khajiiti cuisine has to offer, your every whim will be catered for. In the dining room, you will enjoy expertly prepared local dishes and sweet drinks, while you will be entertained by talented musicians and dancers. I assure you that you will not want to leave this place.
Conversation with Manashir-do while walking through the market:
"No no no. Hmmm. No, not fabric - too many frilly threads, it will only get in the way and distract. But it's beautiful. In this case, it is much better to relax and eat sweets than to fight. Very good embroidery, simply wonderful.
Metal? Only if the Khajiit wants to warn the enemy of his presence! Yes, I am an experienced fighter, but I am not so kind as to warn someone. And how can I move and dodge in this? Everyone knows that it is better to avoid a blow than to receive it, it is better to pounce than to crawl slowly. A! What about this? Durable, but flexible, does not press on the joints... Will it suit me?
Report by Hiranar, Thalmor culturologist:
Governor of Lakaano,
It will not be long before all of Tamriel is under the control of the Dominion, but our efforts must not be limited to conquest alone. No, to gain real power, we must unite the provinces and bring the fruits of our high culture to every corner. And this work begins now - with our allies. If we learn how to convey our values to them, then we can handle bigger jobs later.
The Khajiit, for example, are skilled craftsmen and certainly have some innate respect for the arts, but they should abandon their penchant for an idle lifestyle. I suggest rebuilding most of their taverns and sugar lodges into more suitable establishments, such as schools of Altmeri dynasty history or magical schools. I am confident that if they are freed from these hotbeds of unrest, they will be able to see the joy in becoming exemplary citizens of the Dominion.
I honor you three times,
Hiranar
Excerpt from "Alchemical Delusions":
There are a number of alchemical myths surrounding the Senche Tigers, found in Elsweyr and Valenwood. This is not surprising - a beast possessing strength and nobility will almost certainly give birth to all sorts of rumors and legends.
Most of the myths about these animals belong to the forest elves. They are sure that arrows made from tiger bones have almost magical properties. During my closest acquaintance with these arrows (which I got for a lot of money), I never discovered these properties, although, as you might guess, I did not volunteer to be shot at with them.
Even the Redguards of Hammerfell cannot resist the mystique of the Sencha. They import powders from crushed claws and fangs and make mixtures from them. These mixtures are believed to bring good luck and even prolong life. And although it is a fact that claws have modest beneficial properties, you should still be careful when purchasing potions from dubious merchants. If something sounds too good to be true, it probably is!
From the diary of Tullius, the robber:
I never thought I'd be glad I followed the advice of one of these beastmen, but it happened anyway. Leaving Chorrol was the best decision I've ever made in my entire life. The real money is here, near Arenthia. I couldn’t even dream of such caravans - they are simply bursting with booze and jewelry! I agree, they have more guards, as well as applicants for belongings, but it’s worth it. The main one gives me a good share, and I like the ruins where we are settled, even though it’s a little hot here. Much better than being stuck in a damp, smelly cave. I wonder if I can contact Bartal; he was very funny when I told him where I was going - let him laugh now!

Boots. Located near Tel Mithryn. Boots protect the products of ash.
Armor. Located near the Earth Stone. The armor is guarded by well-known robbers.
And finally, gloves. Found next to the Water Stone. Guarded by mud crabs and rieklings.
Your hero is fully equipped with the armor you found. Next we go to the Hindenhull mound. You can travel through the stages of this quest.
The stage numbers are random numbers, but what number, what does it mean, let's figure it out.
Number 29– the stage begins with pirates on the Haknir shelf. They discovered the treasure, and in it was one of the pieces of Stalhrim uniform.
Number 30– the stage begins with looking at a treasure map with your hero. The pirates have already gone to the shelf and found the chest. Hurry up and search for the remaining parts of the uniform, defeat all opponents and collect a complete set of armor.
Number 31- the stage begins with examining an ancient treasure map with your hero. The pirates went to the shelf and already found the chest. This is the armor of the most majestic pirate king.
Number 70– all of Haknir’s armor has been collected. While the hero was searching, in one of the chests there was a key to Gildenhull Hill. Maybe the uniform and the key are related?
Number 80– all of Haknir’s armor has been collected. While the hero was searching, one of the chests contained the key to Gyldenhull's mound. The hero went there. Haknir's cursed gold was kept there. When the hero touched the cursed gold, the curse worked and the doors closed.
Number 90– all of Haknir’s armor has been collected. While the hero was searching, one of the chests contained the key to Gyldenhull's mound. The hero went there. The cursed gold and one of Haknir's swords were kept there. When the hero touched the cursed sword, the curse worked and the doors closed. The ghost of Haknir appears and instantly attacks the hero.
Number 91– all of Haknir’s armor has been collected. While the hero was searching, in one of the chests there was a key to Gildenhull Hill.
The hero went there. The cursed jewels were kept there, and one of them was Haknir's sword. When the hero touched the cursed sword, the curse was fulfilled and the open doors were locked. Suddenly the ghost of Haknir arrived. The hero must fight the ghost and defeat him. And here it is victory. Now all the jewelry and the sword belong to your hero.
I hope you are interested in the game and tasks. Win and enjoy the game.
What do you need to know to become the king of the pirates? That's right, you need to know where to find the Death Seal armor in Skyrim! How are these two armors related, you ask?! Read below and expand your horizons!
Armor Seals of Death or pirate armor(or also called Death Mark Armor) is a unique set of light armor that appears in the game with the Dragonborn add-on. You can get it by completing the quest “Seal of Death” on the island of Solstheim.
This armor originally belonged to a pirate Hakniru Seal of Death, or "The Pirate King". His image was constantly shrouded in legends: some pirates said that he absorbed the souls of other people in order to live forever. This pirate actually lived for quite a long time, but he did not become immortal - in the quest you will only meet his ghost.
Quest“The Seal of Death” starts after reading the book of the same name. On the map you will see a marker that will show the hero the path to the location “Haknir Shoal”. There you have to destroy the pirates. On the body of their leader you will find a treasure map, which will lead you to parts of the armor. Please note that this card will be displayed in the inventory not in the “books” item, but in the “miscellaneous” item.
In total, the player needs to collect four pieces of armor, each of which is located in different chests, and in different parts of Saltstheim.
Externally, the “Seal of Death” is no different from the light Stalhrimova armor. Each element has its own unique enchantment and good physical performance
If you are wearing a full set of armor, the +100 defense buff will become active.
Now you know how and where to find the Seal of Death armor in Skyrim, and who will not get confused when you hear the phrase about the Pirate King, and immediately remember this article and how it is connected.
